Food Establishment Permits and Applications

Permits are valid from January 1st through December 31st and must be renewed each year. The permit is not transferrable from one person to another, one establishment to another, or one type of operation to another.

Each permit includes an inspection based upon priority rating (see Section 5.06, Section 8.01 (2, 3) of the Food Resolution).

A nationally certified Food Handler Training Course is available through the Laclede County Health Department. Additional fees apply.Laclede County Health Department personnel will be available to offer a non-certified, general food handling course to non-profit charitable organization vendors, upon request of an individual and/or host of an event. No additional fees apply for this general.
